It was a heartwarming day of celebration as the CPF Foundation, in partnership with Suqoon and other key collaborators, brought joy, dignity, and renewed energy to the residents of Mji wa Huruma Home for the Elderly. This was more than just an event, it was a testament to our collective commitment to uplifting those who once cared for us.
The atmosphere was alive with laughter, connection, and compassion. Our dedicated volunteers spent the day engaging in soul-nourishing activities that lit up the faces of the elderly residents. From warm grooming sessions—haircuts, pedicures, and manicures—to joyful singing, dancing, and heartfelt conversations, each moment was designed to honour and celebrate the golden years.
Symbolic tree planting marked a gesture of hope, continuity, and new beginnings. Health and wellness took center stage with comprehensive medical check-ups and calming yoga sessions that nurtured both body and spirit.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of esteemed officials from both county and national government, underscoring the shared responsibility we all carry in supporting our elderly population.
This remarkable gathering was not just about service but about restoring a sense of belonging, appreciation, and love to those who have paved the way before us. Through the CPF Foundation’s ongoing efforts, we build a legacy of care, empathy, and impact that echoes far beyond a single day.
