CPF Foundation to Host April 2026 MDFA on Economic Empowerment of Older Persons

The CPF Group Foundation will host the April 2026 edition of the Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA) under the theme “Living Longer, Living Secure: Advancing Economic Empowerment and Resilience.”
The forum will take place on Friday, 24th April 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kariakor Social Hall, and will be community-based, bringing the conversation closer to the people we serve.
The session will bring together a diverse panel including representatives from the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority, financial advisors, and older persons themselves, who will share lived experiences and practical perspectives on economic empowerment, resilience, and livelihood opportunities in later life. In addition, the forum will feature exhibitions of income-generating initiatives led by older persons, showcasing practical examples of entrepreneurship, creativity, and self-reliance.
This engagement reflects CPF Foundation’s continued commitment to promoting dignity, independence, and sustainable livelihoods for older persons through inclusive and community-driven approaches.
